It was a great pleasure being part of the COPL and to work under the supervision of Prof. Leslie Rusch during my PhD at Université Laval. Being exposed to one of the top-tier labs and cross-functional collaboration with world-class universities and industry, I was fortunate to build strong analytical and problem-solving skills alongside shaping my personal skills. That helped me build the necessary foundation needed in my career path both in academia and industry. One of the noticeable things that I don’t have to miss is how Prof. Leslie is close to her students and that she is keeping this friendly relationship even after graduation. The charm of Québec city and Université Laval is also un-forgettable.

لقد حظيت في فترة الدكتوراه بالعمل تحت إشراف Prof. Leslie Rusch في جامعة لافال في معمل COPL الذي يعد من أفضل المعامل في تخصص علم البصريات على مستوى العالم. بالإضافة إلى ذلك التعاون البحثي مع الجهات الصناعية والجامعات العالمية الأخرى مما أكسبني مهارات تحليلية قوية ومهارات حل المشكلات إلى جانب تشكيل مهاراتي الشخصية بفضل اشرافها. وقد ساعدني ذلك في بناء الأساس الضروري المطلوب في مسيرتي المهنية من الناحية الأكاديمية والصناعية. علاوة على ما سبق يجب ألا أغفل عن مدى قرب Prof. Leslie من طلابها ومحافظتها على علاقتها الودية معهم حتى بعد تخرجهم ... كما وأنني لا يمكن أن أنسى أيضاً سحر مدينة كيبيك وجامعة لافال.
